I really appreciate the posts you come up with. You make very valid points. Another great idea that I personally use, is to have a great SUPPORT system. Every artist (every person rather) gets down from time to time. We need our family, friends, colleagues, and like-minded people as a support system, and keep us inspired/motivated. Maybe start a club (I've done this before with other illustrators) where you work on projects and critique each other. Or if you're in different cities, start a group blog, where you can post daily, weekly, monthly new things you're working on to both inspire to and to be inspired.
